Welcome to the home of Matrix Royal Arch Ritual

Matrix is a contemporary take on the Royal Arch Ritual — adding theatre and drama while keeping the ceremony as meaningful as ever. It introduces new roles, engages companions more deeply and makes the exaltation and installation ceremonies easier to understand.

a contemporary and meaningful ritual

Matrix Royal Arch Ritual is a collaboration between two London Chapters: First Artificer 3774 and John Hervey 1260. The need for a more understandable and inclusive ritual has already been recognised in the changes made over the past 20 years by the Supreme Grand Chapter and the various Ritual Associations. The aim of the Matrix Royal Arch Ritual is three-fold. First, to build on those principles to enable the Exaltee to achieve a greater understanding of his journey by creating a unique rubric. Second, to streamline ceremonies to allow meetings to commence later and complete an Exaltation Ceremony or an Installation in less than one hour.

Learn, Practice, and Perfect the Ritual

The Association organises several Chapters of Assistance (COA) — similar to Lodges of Instruction — where members can practice and enhance their ritual delivery. These workshops focus on confidence, clarity, and improving the candidate’s experience.

Evolving Together

Matrix is a living ritual, always open to new ideas. If you’ve experienced a Matrix ceremony and have suggestions for improvement, share them with us through the Suggestions Tab. Your ideas could help shape future editions.
